Denise Jordan, Executive Director of the Spingfield Housing Authority accepted anaward on behalf of the agency being named a 2026 Community Organization Ambassador, by the Puerto Rican Parade committee.

SHA was honored for it's dedicated service, providing safe, affordable housing for famikies, seniors and people with disabilities for over 76 years. SHA serves over 4,000 households, more than 76% being latino, 90% people of color. Many of those households are headed by women. "SHA is not just a housing authoriy-Thisis our community, reflected back at us."
